There are just two eligibility requirements students need to meet to attend this camp. To attend this camp, students need to:
First, attend our registration event on Tuesday, Apr. 21, from 4 - 6:30 p.m. at San Jacinto College Central Campus, Building 1 Lobby, Interactive Learning Center (8060 Spencer Hwy., Pasadena, TX, 77505).
This is the best chance to get your student into this FREE camp. Spaces for this camp are limited. Students can secure a spot on a first-come, first-served basis during registration. There are 20 seats available per camp.
If you miss the registration event, be sure to sign up for our camp email mailing list. You'll receive an email if there are still openings.
To be fair, our form for the mailing lists are date and timestamped. Emails will be sent to parents in the order they were received until the camps are full.
Corporate sponsors provide funding to cover all of the costs associated with the EnergyVenture camps. At the summer camps, 12, 13, and 14-year-old students learn about STEM career opportunities in Houston’s energy industry.

During camp week, students perform lab experiments, win prizes for “best in class” team efforts, take a “behind the scenes” tour of an energy-related production facility and hear from guest speakers currently working in the energy field.
