You'll need you student ID (G number) and login information to apply.

  3. Get Your Pre-Reqs in Order

Make sure you’ve completed, or are in the process of completing your pre-requisite courses.

  4. Show Us Your Work

Admissions Rubric

The RN-to-BSN program is a competitive program to enter. Selection is based on the following admissions rubric.

Please note that you can apply to the program even if you haven’t finished all the required courses yet. However, your application won’t show your final grades, which may make it harder for you to get in. You also get more points based on our admissions rubric for courses you’ve completed. Because of this, we recommend you complete all your courses before applying. Additionally, this will help you do well in the upper-level nursing courses once you’re in the program.

As part of the BSN program, you will be studying in facilities outside of the College during clinicals, practicums, and other experiential instances. During these times, you will be required to comply with the immunization policies of each facility to be able to participate. These requirements are implemented by the outside facilities and are not mandated by San Jac. Failure to meet the immunization requirements may limit your ability to complete the program. It may also delay your graduation date. San Jac does not process exemptions. You must address potential vaccination exemptions directly with the external learning site.

We use CastleBranch to document and track immunization records, drug screenings, and more. Please create an account and use the code JC18dtim to complete the order process for the RN-to-BSN program CastleBranch Requirements.
