Meet Poe the Raven: San Jac's Mascot
The Raven can mimic other birds’ calls and even repeat some human words. They represent resourcefulness, wisdom, adaptability, and opportunity. Not only does Poe connect students, employees, alumni, and the community to our storied past, but it also represents rebirth and new traditions.
Poe the Raven is available for public appearances to bring enthusiasm and San Jac
pride to your gathering.
How to Request Poe:
- Submit a request form: Complete the mascot appearance request form at least two weeks before your event.
- Provide event details: Include the date, time, location, and a brief description of the event.
- Await confirmation: Our team will review your request and confirm availability within 5 business days.
Appearance Guidelines:
- Poe is available for campus, community, and promotional events that align with our college’s mission.
- Appearances are typically scheduled for up to one hour per event.
- Requests are subject to mascot availability and must adhere to our event policies.
