How to drop a class
Please complete course drops online if possible. To drop a course, visit SOS, navigate to the top menu item 'Students - Registration,' and select 'Register -
Add or Drop Classes.'
If you need to submit written drop requests, take them to the Admissions and/or Center
for Advising, Career, and Transfer offices from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through
Thursday, and 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. (noon in the summer) on Friday.

The Texas state law allows students to withdraw from up to six courses throughout
their undergraduate career. Here are some facts to know about the six-drop course
